How It All Started

In May 2019, four partners came together to form Sequel Wire and Cable in Argos, Indiana with the vision of creating a company that would quickly become a meaningful player in the industry. By employing the latest technologies, hiring the best employees, and maintaining an unrelenting focus, the goal was taking care of the customer. In 2020 the last piece of the partnership team was added to fully serve the customers' needs and give our best.

Gary Yetman

Gary Yetman, Executive Chairman of Sequel Wire and Cable Holdings Gary has more than 35 years of industry experience with an extensive background in manufacturing and broad experience in electrical, industrial, and retail distribution channels, which have contributed to significant growth in the companies he has helped lead. He served as President, CEO, and Director of Coleman Cable Inc. from 1999 through 2014. Under his leadership, Coleman Cable experienced substantial growth, more than doubling its revenue from its 2006 IPO to its eventual sale in 2014. Gary then went on to be Executive Chairman of Houston Wire & Cable until 2021.

Industry veteran, Rich Carr, is Sequel Wire and Cable's CEO. Rich’s career spans 40+ years in the industry. He was one of the original owners of the 1990 startup Copperfield, which took on an equity partner and grew to $519M, then sold to Coleman Cable where he served as EVP of Manufacturing. Upon sale to Southwire he was VP of Manufacturing. Sequel is his encore. Rich’s role is to drive vision, provide guidance for Sequel’s future, and assemble the right staff, machinery, and materials. “Engaging the people is the magic—they are what turns this into something that has never been done. My success is built on the people I’ve been able to attract and work with. I enjoy interfacing with employees to keep my finger on the pulse, and assure the right actions are taken at the right time for success.”

Jim Coleman

Jim Coleman, President and CEO, Sequel Low Voltage Group Jim Coleman brings over 35 years of entrepreneurial, operational, and M&A expertise to his professional career. He began at Coleman Cable Systems, where he transformed the company from a $2 million surplus wire distributor into a leading manufacturer, growing annual revenues to more than $200 million. After the sale of Coleman Cable in 1995, he founded Genesis, a new low voltage wire and cable manufacturing company, which was ultimately sold to Honeywell in 2004. After the sale, Jim continued with Honeywell, where he oversaw acquisitions, restructurings, and integrations. After leaving Honeywell, he put together a small boutique fund that successfully acquired and exited from eight portfolio Companies.

Kurt Hennelly, President, Kurt brings 30 years of senior leadership experience in the wire and cable industry, including executive roles at Southwire and Coleman Cable. His background spans manufacturing, sourcing, logistics, lean enterprise, and large-scale operational transformation. Throughout his career, he has led major integration initiatives, improved working capital performance, executed multiple acquisitions, and driven sustained EBITDA and productivity growth.

Denise Feece

Denise Feece, COO/CFO, has 20+ years experience in manufacturing and finance roles in companies ranging from $200M to $6B, in both the private and public sectors, serving in positions such as Corporate Controller and VP of Finance. Denise is responsible for all administrative functions, and ensuring world class business processes are implemented consistently across the company in an easy and efficient manner. Denise’s passion is to envision and create streamlined cross-functional systems. “I enjoy interacting with employees across the company so that I can understand their daily work and goals, and help to automate repetitive tasks and make them less manually intensive.”

James Rothstein, Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and President of Sequel Low Voltage Division Former Chairman of the Security Industry Association (SIA), James has had a distinguished career spanning the security, low voltage, and cable industries. James brings over three decades of experience to his new role of leading the strategic direction and expansion of Sequel’s overall business, as well as overseeing the Low Voltage division. His focus is on driving revenue growth, enhancing customer engagement, and achieving operational excellence.

Brian Meachum

Brian Meachum, Executive Vice President of Engineering, Low Voltage Group With more than 25 years of experience in the wire and cable industry, Brian brings deep expertise across engineering, manufacturing, operations, product management, sales, and marketing. He most recently served as Vice President of Specialty Distribution at Southwire Company LLC. and previously led the Genesis Cable business unit at Resideo Technologies Inc. In his new role, Brian will oversee all engineering functions with a strategic focus on developing and expanding Sequel’s low-voltage product offerings.

Tiffany Austin, Director of Product Management, brings more than 27 years of experience in the wire and cable industry. She began her career with Genesis Cable, building her expertise through the company's evolution under Honeywell, Resideo, and Southwire. Throughout her career, Tiffany has partnered closely with customers and cross-functional teams to develop market-driven solutions and strengthen product strategy across the low-voltage industry. In her role at Sequel Wire and Cable, Tiffany leads product management initiatives for the company's low-voltage portfolio. She is passionate about understanding customer needs, identifying market opportunities, and collaborating across teams to deliver innovative products that create value for customers and support Sequel's continued growth.

Mike Frigo serves as advisor, after being Chief Commercial Officer as a founding leader at Sequel. His remarkable career has revolved around the OEM market for 38+ years. He leverages a clear understanding of market, process, product knowledge, and authentic relationships. He coordinates all facets of the relationship between Sequel and our customers for the best positive experience, from launch to delivery. This is ongoing as we consistently improve levels of transparency and innovate new ways to meet ever-changing needs.
